Spring Break Whoo

Why is Concordia's spring break so early? I understand that yes, we get out almost two week earlier than most state schools, but seriously, why not have spring break around the same time as other colleges so we can plan vacations with other friends from different colleges? Not that I'm complaining, but Arizona was suppose to be 80 degress this past week. A whole 10 degrees warmer than what it was last week...Maybe they are looking out for us and our skin...reduce the amount of skin cancer in Cobbers. Just a thought.

True Happiness

If I actually had real followers on here I might get some feedback on what truly makes you happy? Think about it......how many people can honestly say they are TRULY happy. And if you say, "Yes" I want to know your secret. Everyone has a bad day or two or a shitty situation that they wished they hadn't had to go through. But I do believe there are really, actual happy people out there, And I used to be one of them, Or maybe I was just young and naive at the time as well. The paths we take, the experiences we make, and the people we meet will all contribute to happiness. But I also think that there are too many people out there who aren't happy but aren't willing to take the steps to find out what it is that is making them unhappy and then make the change. For my instance, I have been jumping from job to job thinking that I was missing out on utilizing my creativity that I love so much.  I didn't like the daily task of data entry and poor work environment...

Catching up

It's been awhile since my last post but life has seen to be keeping me busy. The holidays were fine as usual and I was able to celebrate with a few friends. I still can't remember to write 2016 on my checks. I'm getting into the groove of teaching 3 classes a week at Vital Fit Club, which Racquetball Plus. My life has literally come in full circle. Because of how everything ended in my last communications position I've decided to look at new career options.  My self-esteem is so low on being able to complete anything correctly I just need to find my new niche. Every year in January I always ask myself why I live here in Minnesota, where winter is half the year!?! Oh well. Someday I will live in a warm state. If I try some spiralizing I will post pictures. Hope everyone has a great week and take a few minutes each day to reflect, center your body, and take a few relaxing breaths. 🎎
